Here are more photos that demonstrate the devastating water crisis in Detroit.

On the eastside of Detroit, busted water mains in homes and broken fire hydrants flood yards and streets with fresh water that immediately freezes in the frigid winter temperatures. These cars are frozen in their tracks!

On the northeast side of Detroit, this home caught on fire in November and the water mains in the back part of the house busted apart. Despite the devastation the water in the home remains on and has frozen the remaining floors and fixtures in the home creating huge ice sculptures! The Water Dept has refused to come out and turn off the water while the family in the home to the left (not shown in photo) has no water!
